Adobe Photoshop has been an integral part of my art life since 1998 and version 4. Before I had an Apple, before I actually had enough RAM to successfully run Photoshop, before I discovered the Wacom tablet, Photoshop was the center of my universe.
Digital media are unique with their infinite undos and no physical manifestation save for a print. There are no "originals". In recent years, unless specifically commissioned to paint digitally, I use Photoshop only for sketches and in aid of my traditional work.
